Jan Murphy is a REALTOR® licensed in Virginia.
During her husband’s Air Force career, she worked as a teacher and artist, while leading several different charitable organizations and raising their family of four. During those years, they moved 15 times, so Jan understands the joys and frustrations of life transitions, particularly as they relate to housing. She loves to help people who are facing their own transitions of life and to use her experience to make their moves easier and less stressful.
Jan works with her husband Tim as key members of the REMAX Distinctive CaseCo Team. They are passionate about helping others and are experienced in helping others see themselves as whole, integrated people and make important decisions, especially about housing, from that crucial perspective. Thirteen-year Virginia residents, they have established their own homes in four different communities in all three Northern Virginia counties closest to Washington, DC.
They are particularly eager to help US military members and government workers moving in or out of Northern Virginia. Jan’s life experience required moving in and out of Virginia three times, and she has established homes in several communities of Virginia, both north and south; she knows the joys and difficulties of such transitions. She has also taught in three different Virginia schools. She loves engaging with and knowing at depth the communities where she lives.
